Hello! I’m Dr. Dipika Pandit! I’m a physician with Lifestyle Medical, and I’m passionate about empowering my patients to take control of their health and improve their lives through lifestyle changes.
Â
At Lifestyle Medical, our care is designed to not only help you get your health back, but also to avoid problems in the first place. Through this approach, I’ll take the time to equip you with the insights and activities you need to live a life of wellness. Together, we’ll focus on nourishment, movement, stress management, sleep and healthy relationships to keep you in a rhythm of well-being.
Â
I can help bring clarity to what’s really causing your health problems.
Chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension or chronic pain can really sap the life out of you. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Many of my patients have reversed the trajectory of their conditions, reduced or eliminated medication intake and regained their freedom.
Your physical and mental health are intrinsically connected.
I’ll help you work through your feelings and thought patterns. I employ a total mind and body health approach that’s geared toward building resilience and support systems so you can get back to feeling like yourself again.
I understand the importance (and difficulty) of staying motivated!
Being in a supportive community has tremendous power to bring about change. When you begin your journey toward better health with Lifestyle Medical, you’ll walk hand-in-hand with others who are on the same health journey through weekly support groups, video chats and our members-only Facebook group. You’ll share your successes and setbacks with people who are on similar paths, set goals and find encouragement, learn practical skills, and draw inspiration from your new community. Our team includes a health coach and nutritionist who will educate and encourage you along the way.
I’m available for you whenever and wherever you need me.
When you’re sick, you shouldn’t have to wait weeks to see a doctor. I purposefully limit the number of patients that I look after, so you can count on me being available when you need me, whether during the day, after hours, in person, virtually, or by phone or messaging.
I’m passionate about sharing my expertise in Lifestyle Medicine and the use of nutrition to prevent and reverse many health issues, including diabetes, obesity, high cholesterol, hypertension, certain types of cancer, memory problems and more. Your first consultation with me is free so you can get a feel for our practice and approach.  When you join our family, we commit to giving you the tools and care you need to get your health back and participate in the life you want again.

Read more…I am a board-certified Internal Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine physician and work with people to help prevent, treat, and even (with some conditions) reverse disease. As part of someone’s health we talk about nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress, and support system and these all play critical roles in health.
In addition to the in-office/telemedicine visits, patients and community members are welcome to attend the Walk With A Doc monthly walks at the Ventura Pier (currently held as an education over Zoom due to COVID-19) or other group visits for education, support, or to ask questions. Â
I am part of a larger medical group (Dignity Health) and we accept almost all insurance plans.Â

I am a pediatrician, internist and clinical lipidologist. I thoroughly embrace the benefits of eating a low fat whole foods plant based diet. In Addition to general paediatrics and internal medicine , I have recently published a book on Fibromyalgia and Fibromyalgia- related disorders, Conquering Your Fibromyalgia: Real Answers and Real Solutions for Real Pain. Many people have either been told or read that fibromyalgia isn’t real, or it is all just in their heads. This misudnerstanding, unfortunately, causes harm and is a disservice to those who are suffering. If you are one of the estimated 4 million people in the United States who are suffering from fibromyalgia, then you know it is real. If you don’t have FM, you will, at a minimmum, gain a deeper understanding of what you or your loved one is experiencing. If you do have FM, then you will feel validated for what you have had to endure. You also will receieve actionable steps you can take to thrive, not just survive with fibromyalgia and its related disorders. You will also learn practical and realistic strategies for conquering your fibromyalgia.

Inspired by my own research (https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/1559827619879073), collaboration with industry leaders like Dr. Michael Greger (of NutritionFacts.org) and the Mayo Clinic and patient success stories, I guide my clients as they learn about the impact that lifestyle choices have on their own health.
Â
As a Mayo Clinic-Certified Wellness Coach, researcher, frequent speaker and CHIP facilitator, I have learned that relying solely on medications is not the answer to solving today’s health crisis. Instead, chronic diseases such as Type 2 Diabetes, Obesity, High Cholesterol and High Blood Pressure can be treated much more effectively through lifestyle modifications.
