Dr. Ostby is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Vermont – Specializing in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.  Dr. Ostby received her Medical Degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine where she was elected to the esteemed Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed Residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Loma Linda University in southern California. She subsequently earned a spot in the coveted University of Miami Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship for advanced training in both cosmetic and reconstrutive surgeries of the face and neck. 
Dr. Ostby has a particular passion for learning about plant based nutrition and the power of a whole food plant based lifestyle to improve patients’ health and longevity.  Dr. Ostby strives to provide an integrative approach toward her patinets’ health and facial rejuvenation by incorporating lifestyle and nutritional regimens into her treatment recommendations, in order to enhance healthy gene expression and promote long-lasting natural beauty from within.
