The human body is not set up for failure. When given the chance through a whole food plant-based eating style, physical activity, rest and spirituality, the body is programmed to heal. This has opened the door to wanting to run, take walks, hug a tree and all of that. The change has given me the desire to spread the information to patients and see some amazing transformations in those who are open to rolling up their sleeves and diving into vitality. True, a whole food plant-based eating style is not the panacea for every ailment. True, I still prescribe medications when appropriate. But this plant-based medicine is one of the most powerful medicines I know of.
Only problem is, if more people implement a mostly whole food plant-based eating style I am sure I will be unemployed. I am not worried though. If that happens I plan to go back to residency and become an orthopedic surgeon because everyone will be active, risking sports injuries. Right? theplantbasedplate.com
