As a general internists, I am constantly struggling to impart the “Food As Medicine” concept to my patients who suffer from Diabetes, Htn, HL, heart disease and stroke. I have attended seminars to provide me with the tools to help my patients “eat better” providing them with whole foods/real food/plant-based recipes. Imparting healthy nutritional standards and emphasizing the extraordinary relationship between a patient’s dietary practice and their health is a true passion of mine! I would be honored to join a group of physicians who are emphasizing a similar philosophy in their own practice. As a medical educator, I am very interested in incorporating this aspect of nutritional science into our curriculum.
