In addition to the above, I am certified as a Culinary Health Education Fundamentals (CHEF) Coach by Harvard Institute of Lifestyle Medicine and a Food as Medicine Health Professional by the Center for Mind-Body Medicine. I have completed the American College of Lifestyle Medicine’s Core Competencies Certification Program, and am currently completing the Culinary Medicine Specialist Certification at the Tulane Goldring Center for Culinary Medicine and the Professional Plant-Based Chef Certification at the Rouxbe Culinary Institute.
Primary areas of clinical interest include common chronic lifestyle-related cardiometabolic disorders including obesity, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia, as well as autoimmune and gastrointestinal diseases.
