Dr. Joel Sach received his medical education at the University of Southern California (USC) School of Medicine and pursued his residency training in the field of internal medicine at the prestigious Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Post-residency he spent 18 months at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) studying the intricacies of “Brain-Gut Connections” as they relate to common digestive problems. Subsequently Dr. Sach completed a three year fellowship training as part of the world renowned UCLA Gastroenterology and Hepatology program where he rotated through various affiliated clinical settings including Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, Wadsworth VA Medical Center and Cedars Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Sach’s extensive medical training combined with his unique research experience at UCLA in the realm of “Mind-Body Medicine” lead him to become one of the mostly highly regarded and sought after Gastroenterologists in Southern California.
After 14 years in private practice having treated thousands of patients with chronic lifestyle driven illnesses, Dr. Sach has determined that prevention techniques play an integral role in any effective health care treatment plan.
