My passion for clinical nutrition started 8 years ago when I chose to change to a plant-based diet and lifestyle because my own health issues with heart disease and decided to look for a dietary/lifestyle approach instead of the traditional medical approach with medications and medical procedures. I attended the McDougall 10-day Live-In Program at the McDougall Health and Medical Center in Santa Rosa, CA to find an alternative to standard medical practices. With my new found health I developed a passion for nutrition and wanted to share my knowledge with everyone. I decided to make a career change to nutrition, specifically plant-based nutrition. I went back to school to obtain my degree as Nutrition Therapy Practitioner and Certified Instructor for Dr. McDougall’s Starch Solution Program. I am enjoying my new career with helping people develop a healthy lifestyle and seeing the remarkable results they achieve in their overall health and well-being.
