Since 2012, I am a certified Food for Life instructor (fflclasses.org) through PCRM (pcrm.org) and teach evidence-based classes that show how a whole food plant-based diet can not just be health-promoting, but can prevent, manage, and possibly reverse disease. I am Executive Producer of the 2019 ‘code blue’ documentary (codebluedoc.com) about plant-based eating to maintain/restore health. I have created and deployed a Healthy Snack Program in local schools, working with K-4 students to enable their teachers to provide them with freshly cooked healthy vegan snacks several times a week and supporting them with classroom visits and discussion of veganism as Director of Nutrition Education. I am an affiliate of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
