I have graduated from King’s College London with a BSc in Nutrition & Dietetics and I have completed a MSc in Sports Nutrition.
I have worked in a variety of settings ranging from community to hospital environments, like Brent & Westminster PCT, King’s College Hospital and Northwick Park Hospital. Throughout my dietetic placements I have worked with patients suffering from diabetes, gestational diabetes, obesity, stroke, gastrointestinal diseases, cystic fibrosis, allergies, infections, cancer, gout and many other clinical conditions.
Last year, I worked as a Intern Performance Dietitian at a major football (soccer) club in Portugal, Sport Lisboa e Benfica. During this period, I closely worked with elite level athletes with the aim of optimising their nutrition to perform at their best level.
I am a strong advocate of a whole foods plant based diet due to the numerous benefits it can have on our health, environment and other living beings. However, when it comes to eating habits, this has to be planned carefully to get ensure a nutritionally-balanced diet. Therefore, my aim is to support every individual and institution who seeks to adopt this lifestyle.
