Nutrition drives our physical and mental states. The quality of our lives is grounded in our health, mobility, mental clarity, energy and appreciation of the world around us and our connection to it. I am a psychologist who is highly invested in improving the quality of life and overall wellness of my clients through whole food plant based (wfpb) nutrition. Obstacles that impede adopting a WFPB approach to nutrition and life include food addiction and emotional eating, among other issues. It is my professional commitment to work with my clients in reducing the barriers to healthier living by educating others on a WFPB lifestyle. Personally, I am maintaining an 80+ pound weight loss for over 10 years and know this commitment by living each day myself. Additionally, I am a Food for Life certified nutrition educator and cooking demonstrator with the PCRM (PCRM.org) in addition to holding certificate in plant based nutrition (T. Colin Campbell, eCornell). Eat well, live well, be well.
